The AGM will be held on the 20th of January (the second Monday of the semester). Time and location tbc, but probably around 7-8.
For anyone that is wondering why an AGM post is being published in December, remember that the "Hold the AGM in January instead of April each year" motion was passed last year.
All committee positions are up for grabs, just reply to this thread with the position of your choice.
Nominations for captain, safety and training officer must be submitted before hand, they cannot be accepted on the night.
Those going for captain, safety and training must give a short speech on the night and answer questions.
You can nominate yourself for more than one position, for those that need reminding these are:
GMIT Captain -
Safety Officer -
Training Officer -
Equipment officer -
Public Relations Officer -
First Year Rep -
If you are wondering if you are eligible for a committee position:
"Students on placement/working abroad cannot act on committee"
"Students on placement/working within the country can act on the committee"

Motions can also be voted on at the AGM, if you want to put forward any motions that you think will aid the betterment of the club or just want to see if they'll get passed,reply to this thread down below and I shall add them at a later date.
I know this post is up very early but it gives you all time to come up with motions and time to consider if you want to go for a position or not.
