I wouldn't go ruling out the Alps for next year just cos it was shit this time round.

And I'd say two weeks on one river would get boring.
Italy'd be cool.

Lir Canoe Club won't let me join up.

They're just alternatives. If we'd been equipped with knowledge of alternative paddling destinations this time we might have had more time on rivers.
We would leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one minded!

Bumping this.
These maps give a nice idea of whats on the Soca and some stuff in northern Italy (although this covers mostly G4/5 stuff). Definitely have a read!
