So.... when we get back from the alps, Everything needs to be washed and put in the locker for the next year.

Looks like we'll have to get 2 stoves.

Bazinga!
Stove to replace the lost one: http://www.omearacamping.com/base-camp-double-burner-cooker-2595-p.asp
Refill for gas cylinder that we have: http://www.omearacamping.com/camping-gaz-907-refill-618-p.asp
New cylinder and stove package (rather than just a cylinder refill): http://www.omearacamping.com/base-camp-double-burner-cooker-package-2621-p.asp

Total for this comes to about €150, and means that we have 2 stove systems, so we can cook easily and properly.

I think I might have one of these cylinders at home as well. That way we could just refill it, saving about €60. Will anybody be going to Dublin any time soon to do this?

Just spotted that Halfords also do this type of stuff. Will try to check that out.

So I went to Halfords. They do indeed sell empty cylinders for €35. Great outdoors do the refills I was told, so I will call them tomorrow to find out costs for refills.

But wait! The plot thickens!

I was in the shed, and I spotted another 6kg grey gas cylinder (for the bbq - seems to be full as well). It has a regulator and hose as well, so we just need a stove for it. How about one cheap stove above and one better one??
By the way, I thought this was conor mccombs, but it's not, and he said it is the club's. Hence... Dibs! between that and the other blue cylinder we're laughing!

Sure jaysus lads, Bob's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt.

Got onto great outdoors here in Galway.
They can refill our blue gas cylinder (2.75kg) if we need to for €28.

Ned Forde is the local main calor gas dealer, and can refill the big grey cylinder (6kg) for about €35. (he said to bring out the connection to check it fits as there are a few similar types).

With both of these we wouldn't need to get refills over there I'd say.

I have contacted the main 'camping gaz' factory to get spare parts for the broken stove. Worth seeing what it would cost anyway.

So do we have an update on what gas cookers we have? Simon?
I saw the one in the shed. It seems fine.

Can someone that is going on the summer camping trip please make sure none of the alps stuff (stoves, tarps, etc etc) is taken as its getting late to deal with replacing broken stuff.
Oh, and enjoy the trip! :) Spanks!
