UPDATE
As not enough people are available I’m gonna call it quits. Feel free to organize yer own, just take Corrib Canoe into account. Think they start on the 15th
UPDATE
Well folks,
Its been a while since I've posted.
Do you feel like having a class night with mates around a camp fire? Do you also want you entire surface area of skin to be like a pin cushion with midgey bites? Then island party is the craic for you!
Its completely open really at the moment. Times will be determined by what suits folk so let us know down below.
For anyone that doesn't know, here's the run down:
We paddle from the shed in the morning/afternoon with gear, to a campsite on an "island" on the upper corrib. It isn't that far, honestly.
We set up tents, sort gear and boats out and then we chill out and start the night.
Things you need include:
A tent (or share), a sleeping bag, 1-2 changes of clothes, easy-cook/dried food & snacks, refreshments (obviously), all the appropriate kayaking/safety gear and ratios. Most of you will have phones but ensure there is at least one.
Fire wood is quite important. It keeps the party going and keeps you warm most importantly. I know AJ pulled a serious shift last year with supplying firewood but everyone should bring something. Remember all this gear has to be transported in boats so don't go all Bear Grylls on us.
Most importantly have fun and look out for each other! It's a nice send off before the year closes. I doubt I'll make it so yall have a nice night!

What date suits everyone? I was thinking we could do it after all the exams are finished (like Friday the 10th?), but that's just my 2 cents.

I'm off to the States on the 11th (Saturday after exams) so there's a high likelihood I won't make it
